395 Holly Worton ~ How to Know When to Quit Your Adventures

Today’s Topic

I’m back again, with another solo episode! This episode is inspired by my 42 km (26.2 mile) run last week. I got about halfway through, and I almost quit. But then I went on, and I was so happy to have completed my goal for the run.

Afterwards, I evaluated my experience, and I thought about what would help me get through the low points in my next long run. In this episode, I share my own personal guidelines for quitting, and how you can plan in advance to more easily evaluate whether or not quitting is the best option for you.

What You’ll Learn

  • Why it’s so important to give yourself the option to quit
  • Questions to ask yourself before you go on your adventure
  • How to create your own set of guidelines for quitting
  • How to create a Plan B or a series of scaled goals for your adventure
  • How to use your guidelines during your adventure to evaluate if quitting is the best option
