How to Add More Nature to Your Entertainment and Social Media Feeds

by | Apr 4, 2020

Ever since I returned from my two-week digital detox and Nature reconnection trip, I’ve been decluttering my social networks: unfollowing people on Twitter and Instagram, unfriending people on Facebook that I don’t actually know, and unsubscribing from Reddit subs that no longer bring me joy. It’s an ongoing process, and I know that I’ve accidentally unfollowed some people that I didn’t mean to (I tend to quickly click through the unfollows). Now, I’m in the process of adding accounts that are more Nature based. Here are some suggestions for you.

Podcasts

My own podcast, Into the Woods, has finally been gravitating more and more towards outdoor topics. It’s about personal growth through outdoor adventures. I still have topics about personal development and growth, but I’m talking more about outdoors stuff—and I’m finally inviting guests to talk about how they’ve grown from their outdoor adventures.

I don’t listen to podcast much these days, but when I do, I really enjoy the Out There podcast and She Explores.
